National Gallery, London

One of the finest collections of paintings in the world.  I love this place. Urinals aren't half bad either.

Monet, Water Lillies (what else!)

Leonardo Da Vinci, Virgin of the Rocks

Da Vinci, The Burlington House Cartoon

My personal favorite
The Ugly Duchess - Quinten Matsys

National Republican Club - Capitol Hill

We had our wrap-up dinner after the AACE Congressional visitation at the National Republican Club on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. Pretty iconic wall art. Makes you wonder who's shared the sole urinal in the men's room before you!

Going Organic in DC

Nora's near Dupont Circle in Washington DC is the first certified organic restaurant in the US. We ate there with friends after they read about it online. We all had different meals. Mussels were awesome as was rockfish. Tiff had pork roast & Fred the duck, finished off with pear & apple crisp plus lemon meringue blueberry tart to share. No only was the food terrific, but taste in bathroom decor equally refined.

London, England

No frills, no nonsense. Nothing beats the simplicity and efficiency of a stainless-steel wall urinal. This one was located in Bourough district of London where we rented a flat for the week. This city could keep me coming back for years to come.

Lotus of Siam - Commercial Center

Took Jordan and Lindsay to the Holy Grail of Thai Food in North America (according to the critics). They specialize in Northern Thai cusine. The three spices whole catfish is my favorite--even though it's not much to look at with the gaping mouth and the hollow stare. I want you to just trust me on it and try it. You should also try Mee Krob appetizer and garlic shrimp that are carefully pulled out of the carapace, but it is still left attached at the tail. The whole shrimp is then lightly battered and deep fried: very crunchy...very good.

You know you've got time to burn when you opt for the bolo tie exhibit at the Phoenix airport!
